1.37 tasmān nārhā vayaṁ hantuṁ (original)

SrI: SrImathE SatakOpAya nama: SrImathE rAmAnujAya nama: SrImath varavaramunayE nama:

tasmān nārhā vayaṁ hantuṁ
dhārtarāṣṭrān sa-bāndhavān
sva-janaṁ hi kathaṁ hatvā
sukhinaḥ syāma mādhava

Hence ‘tis not meet for us to despatch the party of Dhṛitarāshtra along with our kinsmen. How, Mādhava[2. See footnote for 1.14], can we be happy by slaying our own people?
