yadi mām apratīkāram
aśastraṁ śastra-pāṇayaḥ
dhārtarāṣṭrā raṇe hanyus
tan me kṣema-taraṁ bhavet

Immense benefit it would be to me if, unresisting and unarmed, I be killed on the battle-field by the armed hosts of Dhṛitarāshtra!
