kaccin nobhaya-vibhraṣṭaś
chinnābhram iva naśyati
apratiṣṭho mahā-bāho
vimūḍho brahmaṇaḥ pathi

‘Is he, cut off from both (ends), lost, like a divided cloud, unfixed (apratishṭho), and unenlightened in the Path of Brahma?’
