Dhṛitaṛāshtra asked:– “O Sañjaya! What did my people and the Paṇdavās, assembled on the plains of Kurukshetra[4. A tract of land to the east of Jamna (yamuna) river, in the upper part of Doab near Delhi. Hastinapura was its capital.], the land of Dharma (righteousness), to carry on war, do?”
